Our Wedding Invitations

Today is July 7th. And that means two years ago today, the cutest guy in the universe asked me to be his best friend for life (at 6:30 am too let me add; please excuse my freckle face and sleepiness). While we sat on a dock off Anna Maria Island watching the sunrise together, I couldn't have been happier knowing that someone loved me enough to spend the rest of their life by my side. Fast forward two years later, and here I am as one thrilled bride-to-be opening up a box full of our beautiful wedding invites...

It's ironic, that two years after the proposal I am preparing to mail out the invitations to our big day. We ordered our suites from Paper Talk Press and totally love the simplistic typography together the whimsical heart deco. The pink on the invite suite is a pale champagne colour, and the rest of the design and lettering is a slate gray. The front of the card style invitation says RHIANNON + ANDREW and when you open the long and skinny main piece, the information for the wedding day is written on the inside. The inside of the front page has a faint heart pattern all over it that I am absolutely smitten with. We have two inserts included; one to invite guests to our welcome appetizer party the night before the wedding and the other side of this insert is completely pink with the white heart deco in the middle. And the other insert includes accommodation information on one side and things to do in the area (cab numbers, train schedules to Toronto, etc) on the other.

I have hand addressed half of the invites in a slate gray colour and will finish the rest today. I then stamped the back of the envelope, right beside the return address, with a cute little bride and groom silhouette stamp. The post office has really pretty floral stamps I will purchase since fancy stamps weren't in the budget and these babies will start to make their journey to our guests at the end of the week. I highly recommend Michelle from PTP. She's such a great vendor to work with and was always there to help us even in the days leading up to her own big day! Her prices are extremely reasonable, the quality of her work is exactly what we expected and well we are just thrilled :) Thank you Michelle! xo
