Hershey Kiss Cookies

Soft cookie dough, Hershey kisses and only a 10 minute wait to devour it all? I like.

Kiss Cookies 002

And if you're like me and get antsy waiting for your desserts to bake, or have no time to wait for them to cool and decorate or you have kids (I have no kids, I can't even remember to feed my cat HA! but I do know when kids want sugar they want sugar!) then these are for you. These are especially great for bake sale and can be made by even the weakest of all bakers; everyone will think you went to the end of the world to create such cutey-patooty little lovies.

You can use a store-bought cookie dough or you can use your own from-scratch recipe but the store-bought brand is the easiest way to go. Make sure to grease your mini muffin pan extremely well. If you don't, these treats won't come out of their wells and you will be stuck with cookie 'rings' and a Hershey Kiss stubbornly sitting right where you placed it.

Place a bit of dough in each greased well and then place a Hershey's Kiss in the middle of each wad of dough. Press down on the Kiss slightly to squish the dough down and make sure your oven is preheated to 350 degrees F before plopping in your goodies. Bake for about 10-13 minutes or until brown (seriously wait until they are brown or they will not come out of the wells in one piece). Cool absolutely and completely before trying to remove. To remove twist gently and then pull upwards.

Oh how I love you little cookies of joy! Bake up up to the sky! So I can EAT you.

And if you're wondering how I got these cookies so cute and tiny click here. And get one for yourself! This week is Wedding Week too and I can't wait for the final product to come together but I will be doing lots to prepare for the big day. Thought this post would hold you over until then!

Oh those look divine!! But I do have one question for a fellow baker! What do you DO with all the sweets you bake? I can't keep them or I would eat them ALL, but I haven't really come up with a good idea of what to do with them either!! Any advice?

Chocolate chip cookies and Hershey's kisses are 2 of my favorite things! Mmmmmmmm.

p.s. I'm looking forward to the advice you give Beach Bum, because honestly, there's no way you eat everything you bake...you're way to cutely figured! My baking habit is the reason I can't loose my baby weight!

My mom made some like that during the holidays and the way the Kiss melted made the cookie look like a boob with a nipple. We didn't serve those at her party. They were delicious AND sexy!

Stay@home - Thanks!

Mama Joss I can read your mind :)

Mommy4Life - I thought about that this morning and how I never mentioned in the post to use different types of dough and kisses. You're right though, PB cups are great as well! Divine it you will!

BB - Thanks so much and that is something I do struggle with. I used to bake almost every day and it got so expensive and overwhleming with all the sweets. Now I try to bake only when I have too; meaning I have an order coming up and have extra batter OR I have a party or birthday I am going to and need to bring something.

I also have neighbors haha lots of neighbors and lots of kids who are more than happy to take my stuff and my brother likes it as well. We had a garage sale this weekend so most of these cookies went to the shoppers :) Hope that helps!

Thanks Chablis! See above for the answer and believe me I have gained close to 10 pounds since I started this blog-business! Yikes. I should really start to work out again so I can fit in my wedding dress!

Erica, Danielle, Kristin, Jessy and Kim, Thanks for your sweet comments! Enjoy.

Lolly, that is so funny because they do kind of look like boobs hehe they still tasted delish!

Jennifer Rose, where are you from?? You should be able to find some in your grocery store with the butter and crossaints and products by Pillsbury. Let me know!

Donna, Heavenly Housewife, Stephanie and Kara, thanks for stopping by you guys! I hope you will get to try these out because they are just perfect :)

Tiffany your little girl is crazy haha send her my way and I'll change her no-chocolate problem haha glad you like the recipe and "dad" will love them!

Oh, so easy...so yummy looking!! I'm going to have to throw these together the next time I buy kisses...and a mini muffin tin! ;-)

Jennifer Rose said...

I'm in Scotland right now, my family is still in Canada so can eat most of the Pillsbury products and if it wasn't so expensive to ship things they would send me some lol I've only been able to find the croissant tins and the pizza base and I think I saw the cinnamon rolls but other then that I haven't seen anything else (might have missed them but not sure)
